How much does a house extension or loft conversion cost in London?

Every project is priced individually because cost depends on size, specification, structural requirements and finishes. As a guide, single-storey extensions, double-storey extensions and loft conversions each sit in different bands. We provide a clear, itemised quotation with no hidden costs after an initial site visit, so you know exactly what you are paying for before any work begins.

Do you handle planning permission and building regulations?

We can guide you through the design-and-build process, helping coordinate architectural drawings, planning permission applications, structural calculations and building control sign-off. Many extensions and loft conversions fall under permitted development, and we will advise you on the most efficient route for your property.

How long does a typical project take?

A loft conversion usually takes 6 to 10 weeks on site, a single-storey extension around 10 to 14 weeks, and full house refurbishments or new builds longer depending on scope. We agree a realistic programme before starting and keep you updated at every stage so there are no surprises.

Are you accredited and insured?

We hold CHAS, Constructionline, Federation of Master Builders and TrustMark accreditations, and we are fully insured. Every project is carried out to current building regulations with rigorous health and safety standards on site.
